The choir from Scoil Mhuire Naofa were very lucky to be one of two schools chosen in Offaly to participate in a newly composed choral producation “Rain Falling Up,” composed by Brian Irvine. The venture was funded by the Arts Council of Ireland, as well as support from Offaly County Council and various other¬†county councils. The choir began rehearsing at the beginning of September, and had visits from conductor Fergus Sheil during preparations. The performance took place in the Convention Centre in Dublin on Saturday 10th November 2012¬†and featured the RTE National Symphony Orchestra. Check out a clip from the performance here
